On 18 June 2021, it was 8.4, as reported in the Senate's situation report. On Thursday, the value was still given as 10.7 and on Wednesday as 12.2. Eleven days ago, Health Senator Dilek Kalayci (SPD) had rejected comprehensive relaxations of the Corona rules as long as the incidence value was still in double digits. At the time it stood at 26 and Kalayci said, "The goal must be to get into single digits." The value indicates how many people per 100,000 inhabitants became infected in the past seven days.
