Vaccination prioritization ends

From this Monday onwards, Corona vaccination will be available to all those willing to be vaccinated. The senate administration is counting on patience in the demand for appointments, as the vaccine is in short supply.

As of 7 June, vaccination prioritisation has been lifted in Germany. The timing is right, said Berlin's health senator Dilek Kalayci (SPD). "Of course, it would be better if it was accompanied by more vaccine. This opens up only limited scope for vaccination services in the vaccination centres." Around 130,000 additional first vaccination appointments could be unlocked here. Kalayci said she still asks Berliners to be patient. According to the administration, appointments can be booked via the website of the state of Berlin or the vaccination hotline.
