Seven-day incidence in Berlin remains below 30

The seven-day incidence continues to be below 30 in Berlin, with the Robert Koch Institute reporting a value of 26.3 for the capital on 05 June 2021.

The figure indicates how many people per 100,000 inhabitants have been infected with the coronavirus in the past seven days. On the previous day, the incidence was still at 28.7. The RKI registered 156 new infections in Berlin. This brought the total number of people infected since the outbreak of the pandemic to 179,087. Four additional deaths related to Covid-19 were reported. The total number of deaths on Saturday was 3506, according to the RKI.
