Corona numbers in Berlin continue to decline

The Corona numbers in Berlin continue to decline week-on-week. Within seven days, 33.6 people per 100,000 inhabitants were proven to be infected with the virus, as the Robert Koch Institute announced on Tuesday.

On Tuesday last week, the so-called seven-day incidence was still at 46.5. In two districts, the figure is still above 50: in Neukölln, there were 67 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days, in Spandau 50.6. The situation is most favourable in Steglitz-Zehlendorf with 15.2. On 01 June 2021, the Senate wanted to discuss whether further restrictions on public life could be relaxed.
