On Wednesday, the value was 39.3. The figure shows how many new infections per 100,000 inhabitants were reported in the past seven days. However, the significance is currently limited: On holidays like Whit Monday, fewer people go to the doctor, fewer samples are taken and there are fewer laboratory tests. Therefore, fewer new infections are reported. The general trend, however, still points to a slowdown of the third Corona wave.
