On Friday, the value was still at 71.5. It is the fifth day in a row that the incidence is below the important threshold of 100. If it is below 100 for five working days without interruption, Corona rules can be relaxed. The number of new infections reported within one day rose by 455 to a total of 175 019, according to the report. According to the report, three more people died in connection with Corona infections. The total number of pandemic deaths is now reported at 3399. 165 400 people are considered recovered.

If the incidence rate remains below 100 for five working days in a row, relaxations are possible on the day after next. In Berlin, this would be possible for the first time next Wednesday. The Senate wants to take the first steps as early as then. Museums and memorials, for example, could then reopen under certain conditions. From the Friday before Whitsun, cafés and outdoor restaurants would be allowed to serve guests again. This was decided by the Senate on Friday.
