On Thursday, the value was still 83.4. It is the fourth day in a row that the incidence is below the important threshold of 100. If it is below 100 for five working days without interruption, Corona rules can be relaxed.
The number of new infections reported within one day rose by 155 to a total of 174 564, according to Friday's report. According to the report, 71 more people died in connection with Corona infections. In previous days, the number of deaths was far lower. According to the situation report, these are not currently deceased Covid 19 patients, but follow-up reports from the period October 202 to January 2021 by the Steglitz-Zehlendorf health department. The total number of pandemic deaths is now reported to be 3396. 164 900 people are considered recovered.
If loosened, the night-time curfew restrictions, according to which it is generally no longer permitted to leave one's own home or property between 10 pm and 5 am, could be abolished. The opening of outdoor restaurants would then also come within reach. The Senate agreed on this on Tuesday.
