In the past seven days, 86 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants were reported to the Robert Koch Institute, as announced on 12 May 2021. If the incidence value is below 100 for five days in a row, the Corona rules can be relaxed.

A total of 510 new Corona infections were reported on Wednesday. Meanwhile, 825 more people are considered to have recovered. With 22.2% of intensive care beds occupied by Corona patients, the situation in intensive care units continues to ease only slowly. The Corona traffic light is still yellow.
