With the enactment of the nationwide Corona emergency brake, night-time curfew restrictions and, in some cases, stricter contact restrictions will apply in Berlin from 00.00 am on Saturday.
In addition, museums will have to close again. This was announced by the health administration on 23 April 2021 at the request of dpa. The basis is the Infection Protection Act, which the Bundestag passed on Wednesday and the Bundesrat confirmed on Thursday. According to it, the emergency brake is applied in regions where the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants is stably above 100 within one week. This is the case in Berlin.
