1327 new infections: 7-day incidence at over 140

In Berlin, a further 1327 infections with the Corona virus have been detected. This brings the total number of cases to 155,998, as reported by the Senate Health Administration in its situation report on 14 April 2021.

There is also a clear increase in the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in one week. The value is now 140.8, after 127.6 the day before. The highest 7-day incidence value of the Berlin districts was achieved by Spandau with 171.3, the lowest by Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf with 104.2. All Berlin districts are thus above the 100 mark.

3134 deaths related to Covid-19 in Berlin

According to data from the health administration, a total of 155,998 people have been infected with the virus in Berlin since the beginning of the pandemic. Of these, 142,755 are now considered to have recovered. Six more people have died in connection with Covid-19, bringing the total number of deaths in Berlin to 3134.
