Due to the ongoing Corona pandemic, stricter rules for private meetings in closed rooms will apply again in Berlin from Tuesday (06 April 2021).
During the day, only members of a household or life partner plus one other person are allowed to stay indoors together. Children up to 14 years of age are not counted. At night, no more visits are allowed between 9 pm and 5 am. The members of a household or life partner must remain among themselves.
Maximum of five people from two households allowed outdoors
The Senate passed the regulations last Thursday. Already since Friday, people are only allowed to be outdoors alone or in pairs at night between 9 pm and 5 am. During the day, outdoor gatherings are only allowed with a maximum of five people from two households. Children up to 14 years of age are not counted.
