In Berlin, there are 196 proven new infections with the corona virus. This is according to the Corona situation report of the health administration from Monday (15 February 2021).
On Sunday, the value was 71. However, the health offices do not report their complete data at the weekend. The so-called seven-day incidence has risen slightly, but the warning light is still red: according to the situation report, an average of 57.4 out of 100,000 people have been infected with the virus in the past seven days - the previous day it was 56.8. The light would only change to yellow at a value of 30, and then to green at 20.
21.2 percent of intensive care beds occupied by Covid 19 patients
The percentage of intensive care beds occupied by Covid 19 patients is 21.2, according to the situation report, which is slightly lower than the previous day (21.9 per cent). It is below the threshold of 25 percent for a red signal. The traffic light is still yellow. The so-called R-value, which indicates how many others an infected person infects on average, is currently 0.94 - the same as the day before. If it remains permanently well below 1, the incidence of infection is sustainably reduced. Across Berlin, 124,986 people have been infected with Corona since the pandemic began about a year ago. In the meantime, 115,860 are considered to have recovered. The number of deaths related to the Covid-19 disease is 2620, which is 11 more than the day before.
