2466 people have died so far in connection with the virus. Most of the deaths (1064) were in the age group between 80 and 89 years. On Saturday, 13 new deaths were reported compared to the previous day. At weekends, however, it must be assumed that the figures are not always complete because cases are not reported. For example, Saturday's statistics show no new infections at all in three districts.

The number of infections per 100,000 inhabitants within one week continued to decline according to Saturday's data - from 74.4 on Friday to now 70.1. The Corona traffic light here remains on red. From a value of 30 it would jump to yellow, from a seven-day incidence of 20 to green. According to the situation report, 25.7 percent of Berlin's intensive care beds are currently occupied by Covid 19 patients. Thus, the Corona traffic light continues to show red here as well.
