Initially, the situation for museums was unclear, because they are not explicitly mentioned in the agreement between Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) and the Prime Minister. According to this agreement, cultural institutions such as Theater, opera houses, concert halls and cinemas must remain closed for one month in November.
The ministers of culture have now decided that the trial operation may continue. This should enable the game to resume operation in December. According to the information, libraries, archives and music schools may remain open.
