Outside, only 25 instead of 50 people are allowed to meet, inside, instead of ten people, only members of one household plus a maximum of five other people are allowed. Alternatively, people from a maximum of two households can meet privately indoors. This was decided by the Senate on Tuesday (20 October 2020), as announced by the head of government Michael Müller (SPD).
Since October 10, already tightened contact restrictions in public spaces during night hours have been in effect: Between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. a so-called dispersal order applies. A maximum of five people from different households or more people from no more than two households may stay together in public space at night.
