From a figure of 30 infected persons per 100,000 inhabitants within a week, this traffic light jumps to red. According to the health administration, the reproduction value for the last four days was 0.83 - that is the average number of people infected by a corona. Here the traffic light continues to show green. Berlin also continues to be in the green zone in terms of the utilization of intensive care beds, at 2.6 percent.

244 new corona cases reported

On Thursday, 244 confirmed new corona infections were reported. This brings the number to 15 031 cases. 12,888 patients are considered to have recovered, 137 more than the day before. The number of deaths now stands at 229 (previous day 228). The Berlin Early Warning System for the assessment of the corona situation indicates a need for advice in case of double yellow. If the so-called Corona traffic light shows double red, the senate sees need for action.
