The hospital currently treats 40 people, 15 of whom are in intensive care. The Corona traffic light continues to show green for all three indicators. According to the traffic light system adopted by the Berlin Senate, measures would have to be discussed and prepared if two of the three indicators were set to yellow. As soon as two of the three indicators point to red, measures to contain the infections must be implemented.
The reproduction number, R-value for short, is currently 1.02. Only when the value exceeds 1.1 at least three times in a row does the traffic light switch to amber. At 12.2, the number of cases per week per 100,000 inhabitants is also in the green range - the situation only becomes critical after 20.
The proportion of intensive care unit places needed for Covid-19 patients is 1.1 percent. As long as the value remains below 15 percent, the traffic light is green. According to the health administration, this value has been at a very low level for some time.
