50 administrative offences were reported, a police spokeswoman said on Saturday. Some of the accusations: individual people had not kept the distance from others as prescribed in the Corona period, in some cases the companies had not been able to present a hygiene concept, had not kept proper attendance lists or had not posted the hygiene regulations.
According to the report, the six employees of the public authority inspected three bars and three Spätis. They were accompanied by five policemen who filed a criminal complaint for insulting an employee of the public order office. The district mayor of Dassel (Greens) was also present and gained impressions. According to the police, the group was on the road between 9:30 p.m. and 1 a.m. in Brunnenstraße, Torstraße and Weinbergsweg.
After at least ten guests of a restaurant under the Berlin TV tower tested positive for the corona virus, von Dassel announced increased controls on Wednesday. In case of violations, "fines would be imposed in the maximum legally permissible amount". In an open letter to owners of bars, pubs and restaurants in Mitte, he demanded, among other things, that the rules of distance and hygiene applicable in the Corona pandemic be enforced among guests without exception, and that protective measures be consistently followed.
