Berlin waives contact restrictions

For Berliners, dating in a larger circle is becoming easier again. The contact restrictions imposed by the Corona pandemic will no longer apply.

This was decided by the Senate on 23 June 2020 according to information from the German Press Agency. Up to now, a maximum of five people from several or only members of two households may meet in public in the capital. The regulation should help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
In the future, Berliners will no longer have to comply with these rules, even if the distance and hygiene rules continue to apply. The senate is thus counting on further relaxation of the corona measures. Discussions about this were already held at last week's Senate session, but no decision has yet been made. However, it had already been indicated that the coalition parties would agree on this point.

Corona controls of the police in party district

Despite the relaxed Corona restrictions, the Berlin police are continuing their controls of the catering trade. On Friday evening, police officers were on the road in the popular pub district of Friedrichshain. more
