5187 confirmed corona cases and 92 deaths

The number of proven coronavirus infections in Berlin has risen to 5187 cases. This was 96 cases more than the day before, according to the Senate Health Administration on April 18, 2020.

On 18 April 2020 the number of infections had reached 5091. According to this, 92 people had died in Berlin in connection with a Sars-CoV-2 infection by Saturday (as of 18:00). Most of the dead (52) were 80 years and older, followed by the 70 to 79 year olds (22). Isolated and treated in hospital, 585 Covid-19 patients were reported - 153 of them in an intensive care unit.
