5091 confirmed corona cases in Berlin

The number of proven coronavirus infections in Berlin has risen to 5091 cases. This is an increase of 120 new infections compared to the previous day, as the Sents Health Administration announced on April 17, 2020.

The day before 101 confirmed cases had been added. According to this, 91 deaths are known to date in Berlin in connection with a sars-CoV-2 infection (plus 7). Most deaths (52) were 80 years and older, followed by those between 70 and 79 years of age (21). The number of convalescents was given as 3642 - 161 more than the day before. Isolated and treated in hospital, 585 Covid-19 patients (17 fewer than the day before) were reported on Thursday - 146 of them in intensive care.
