1425 confirmed Covid-19 cases, 42-year-old man died
In Berlin there is a third death in connection with the coronavirus. This is a 42-year-old man, the Senate Department for Social Affairs announced on Tuesday evening (March 24, 2020).

No further details were initially disclosed. Previously, two people aged 70 and 95 had died. By Tuesday afternoon there were 1425 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (as of 24 March 2020, 16:30) in the capital, 206 more than the previous day.
112 persons in inpatient treatment, 26 receive intensive care
112 people are isolated and treated in the hospital, 26 of whom receive intensive medical care. All other persons are isolated at home. Among those infected, 791 persons are male, 632 female. For two people, the sex was not transmitted.
Most people are infected Berlin-Mitte
Most infected persons are in the age groups of 25-59 years with 1065. According to the statistics, 15 people are up to four years old, 20 over 80. According to the Senate Administration, the most infected people are in the Mitte district (223), followed by Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf (170), Tempelhof-Schöneberg (154) and Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg (151). The district of Marzahn-Hellersdorf has the lowest number of infected persons with 46, followed by Spandau (48) and Lichtenberg (66).
In order to contain the corona crisis, accumulations of more than two people should be prohibited in principle. This was agreed upon by Chancellor Angela Merkel and the state premiers.
