Earthquakes in Turkey and Syria: Berlin is collecting donations

After the severe earthquakes in southern Turkey and northern Syria, the German-Turkish community in Berlin reacted with spontaneous appeals for donations.

    Relief goods for the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria stand packed on Turmstraße in Moabit. Members of the Turkish community in Berlin collected tons of relief goods within a few hours. The police closed Turmstraße so that the volunteers could load numerous trucks.
