Hotels in Berlin reopen for tourists from 11 June

Tourist overnight stays in hotels are to be possible again from 11 June, as in Brandenburg. There will be no occupancy limits, but hygiene concepts will continue to apply.

Berlin's hotels and accommodation establishments will be allowed to receive tourists again as of next week. However, there will be no upper occupancy limits as originally discussed. This was announced by Economics Senator Ramona Pop (Greens) on 1 June 2021 after a Senate meeting.
