The march is entitled "From crisis to expropriation". 2000 participants are registered with the police. Later in the evening feminist women's groups walk through Kreuzberg with the slogan "Take back the night - Wir nehmen uns die Nacht zurück".
Critics of Corona rules march through Lichtenberg
Saturday continues with a whole series of protests: from the DGB trade union federation in the morning in Mitte, to opponents of Corona rules at noon in Lichtenberg, a satire and fun demonstration in the afternoon in Grunewald, to the usual large radical left demonstration in the evening in Neukölln and Kreuzberg.
5000 police officers are on duty all day
However, the parties on Walpurgis Night (Walpurgisnacht) and the street festivals are cancelled, as they were a year ago, because of the Corona pandemic. At the demonstrations, all participants must wear face masks and keep their distance from other people. Curfew continues to apply from 10 pm.
