Weekend brings snow to Berlin and Brandenburg

Berliners and Brandenburgers can look forward to two to six centimetres of fresh snow this weekend. According to the German Weather Service on Friday morning, it will snow between Friday evening and Saturday morning, especially in the south-western half of Brandenburg and in Berlin.

During the day on Friday it will remain dry with temperatures down to zero degrees. In the morning it could freeze in places and become slippery, especially in the south of Brandenburg. In the course of Saturday, it will clear up again from the Prignitz to the Uckermark with temperatures between zero and two degrees. In the night to Sunday (31 January 2021) it will cool down to minus eleven degrees. It could become slippery in some areas. Sunday will also remain dry with maximum temperatures of up to zero degrees and a weak south-westerly wind.
