Rail traffic between Germany and Poland restricted
According to Deutsche Bahn, cross-border rail traffic between Germany and Poland will be restricted from Sunday onwards.
Due to orders of the Polish authorities in connection with the corona pandemic, numerous trains will be cancelled daily on the lines "Lübeck - Neubrandenburg - Szczecin" and "Berlin - Angermünde - Szczecin", as the railroad company announced. The restrictions are to apply for the time being until further notice.
In Poland, further restrictions on public life have been in force since Saturday in view of the drastically increasing number of new infections. Cinemas, theaters and museums are closed again - as are stores in shopping malls, with the exception of grocery stores and pharmacies. All schools are switching to distance learning. The restrictions are to remain in force until November 29.
