The Bode Museum and the Pergamon Museum will reopen on October 3, 2020.After the closing time due to the corona pandemic, the historical ensemble of the Museum Island will be fully accessible to visitors again.
As Staatliche Museen zu Berlin announced on 24 September 2020, both the Bode-Museum and the Pergamonmuseum

are the Altes Museum, the Alte Nationalgalerie, the James Simon-Galerie, the Neues Museum, and a temporary replacement for the Pergamonmuseum. The National Museums in Berlin (Staatliche Museen zu Berlin) include 15 collections with 4.7 million objects in 19 locations. Last year, the museums were visited by almost 4.2 million people, almost 3.1 million of them alone visited the houses on Museum Island.
