The S9 line will start service to the station under the new terminal on October 26, 2020 - five days before the first passengers arrive at BER. As the Berlin-Brandenburg Transport Association announced on September 22, 2020, the trains will take people to their jobs at the airport. From October 29, the S45 will be the second airport suburban train to arrive at the new station. Those who want to go to the old Schönefeld terminal, which will become part of BER as Terminal 5, will get off two stations earlier. For both destinations, the ticket must include fare zone C.
