From 6 a.m. onwards, the train will run once a day within a little more than four hours via Dresden to Prague and from there via Vienna to Graz. "Between Berlin, Dresden and Prague, the new Railjet service strengthens the existing EC line with an additional early morning journey to the Czech Republic and a new late connection in the opposite direction," the railway announced on Wednesday, 2 October 2019. The EC connection is currently offered every two hours. For Saxony's capital Dresden, however, it would be the first direct connection to Austria and Prague.
