Starting this Friday, 5 July 2019, S-Bahn passengers will have to prepare themselves for rail replacement services on a section of the Ringbahn. The section between Ostkreuz and Frankfurter Allee will be affected by the closure. Blocking in both directions will begin on Friday at 10 p.m. The reason for the interruption is the new construction of the bridge over the Wiesenweg. Until 5 August 2019, a rail replacement service is in operation between Ostkreuz and Storkower Straße. Most of the buses are be barrier-free. The substitute for the Frankfurter Allee bus stop is located at Gürtelstraße.
