1.4 million euros in 2020 and about 1.9 million euros in 2021 are factored in for this purpose. The arrangement will take effect in April 2020. Although the absolute figures for the cultural budget are on the rise, the share of Berlin's total budget will fall slightly over the next two years. In the coming year, Senator Klaus Lederer will have 593.2 million euros at his disposal for the areas of culture and Europe. This corresponds to 1.94 percent of the total budget of 30.54 billion euros for 2020.
