T. rex Tristan Otto to stay in Berlin

The skeleton of the Tyrannosaurus rex named "Tristan Otto" will be on display at the Natural History Museum Berlin for another year.

"We are delighted that Tristan Otto will inspire all Berliners and guests of this city for the entire year 2019," said General Director Johannes Vogel on Friday, 18 January 2019 in Berlin. According to Vogel, about 735,000 visitors saw Tristan Otto in 2018, and more than 2 million since December 2015. The dinosaur skeleton is expected to leave Berlin in spring 2020 for Copenhagen. The preliminary works at the Natural History Museum of Denmark have not yet been completed.
