The Brandenburg Halle is well attended at the Green Week in Berlin.

According to the organisers, this is the highest attendance in the 93-year history of the exhibition for agriculture, food and horticulture. They expect around 400,000 visitors over the course of the trade fair that takes place from Friday to Sunday next week. In the beginning, the Farmers' Union expressed concerns about the impending Brexit. Every year, Germany delivers agricultural goods and food worth 4.5 billion euros to Great Britain. "An open market with the United Kingdom is still our top priority," said Association President Joachim Rukwied on Wednesday (16 January 2019).
