The installation "I hope" by the Japanese installation and performance artist Chiharu Shiota in Berlin's König Galerie invites visitors to participate.

Chiharu Shiota is working on a huge installation (2019) in the foyer of the Gropius Building. For the Berlin exhibition "I hope" the artist chose the color red.

With the aim of inhibiting the spread of the coronavirus, extensive restrictions will apply from November 02. Museums and cultural institutions are not allowed to open from November 02 until the end of December 22. Further Information »

10,000 red papers float through a former church in Berlin-Kreuzberg: The Berlin-based artist would like to invite the gallery's guests to complete the sentence "I hope". This can be done with any content and in any language. Of course, the hopes for the future can also be transported through a drawing.
