Martin Schoeller: Close ups

CWC Gallery in Mitte presents a selection of Martin Schoeller's «Close-Ups» - photographic portraits of mostly prominent people.

For the first time in Germany, the exhibition in the photo gallery in Auguststraße presents new portraits from Schoeller's world-famous series. Among others, Barack Obama, Lionel Messi, Elton John, Cher, Emma Watson, Bono, Karlie Kloss, Angela Merkel, Christian Bale, Mike Tyson and Bill Gates are on display.

About Martin Schoeller

Martin Schoeller was born in Munich in 1968 and is today one of the best-known contemporary portrait photographers. After studying photography at Berlin's Lette-Verein and in Hamburg, he worked for four years as Annie Leibovitz's assistant in New York before beginning his own career in 1996.
