Farewell Party at the Komische Oper

Before the building on Behrenstraße will undergo extensive renovations starting in mid-June, the Komische Oper is celebrating a lavish party to mark the temporary farewell to its venue.

Anyone who has always wanted to look behind the scenes of an opera house will get the opportunity to do so on June 10. On the night after the last performance, numerous doors will open and visitors can take a peek behind the curtain. There will be dancing on several floors, while brave children can explore the house on a post-show hike. Further details of the program are not yet known.
