Youth symphony orchestras from all over the world enrich the Berlin summer with classical music concerts at the Konzerthaus Berlin on Gendarmenmarkt.

The word "Euro" in the festival name stands symbolically for European orchestral culture and its spread to all continents. Thus, a typical festival concert during the Young Euro Classic consists of a symphonic work of the 19th or 20th century, a representative national work, and a world premiere or German premiere. 2024 will see the 25th edition of the Young Euro Classic in Berlin.

European Orchestral Tradition Meets Music from the Orchestra’s Homeland

Every year, the Young Euro Classic festival is characterized by great symphony orchestras and their special repertoire. In addition to their own interpretations of the works of the European orchestral tradition, each orchestra is encouraged to present music from their respective homeland and, if possible, new works.
