Principal Business Process Assistant (m/f) with IT focus
For our customer in the banking area we are currently looking for a highly motivated Principal Business Process Assistant (m/f). Within this role you will support the IT and general information systems department.
Your daily tasks:
Advise and support project managers in defining work breakdown structures, sequencing/scheduling activities and improving the overall quality of project plans in multiple projects in the IT Projects Portfolio;
Create and maintain PMO templates and tools;
Prepare various types of formal portfolio or project analytical reports, contributing to improve KPIs for the monitoring of the project portfolio
Support the development of portfolio/project related communication, sometimes acting as focal point for the projects, using any kind of communication tool required (e.g. email, documents, wiki pages);
Undertake administrative tasks related to projects in strict compliance with the administrative regulations and legal constraints, including monitoring of resource and financial budgets and expenditure for the projects, preparation of purchase orders and invoicing within the respective IT systems;
Any other ad hoc tasks related to the projects or the overall management of the portfolio
Qualifications and experience:
University degree in computer science or business administration, including general technical understanding of trends, business parameters and developments in the field of IT services
Around 3 years experience in project management support (PMO), including supporting IT project management in an international, multi-stakeholder environment according to project management standards (e.g. PMI, PRINCE2, company specific) and supporting project administration including plans, risks/issue logs, budgets, purchase orders, documentation repositories, and project monitoring/control.
Around 6 years of administrative experience
Excellent computer knowledge and familiarity with the MS Office suite (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, MS-Projects), MS-Projects and SAP
Advanced level of English, both written and spoken
Working knowledge of any other European language
You should have proven organisational skills with the ability to take initiative, prioritise and flexibly switch between tasks and work accurately with an eye for detail
Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural awareness combined with the ability and confidence to work effectively in a team and to establish and maintain good working relationships
