The "Großer Tiergarten Berlin" park has something to offer for everyone and is open all year round. In order to accomodate the diverse interests of the park visitors, while at the same time preserving the habitat of plants and animals and the park area as a garden monument, some rules must be observed in mutual respect. Their legal basis is paragraph 6 of the Berliner Grünanlagengesetz.
Please note:
- Bicycles are allowed only on paved paths and must give way to pedestrians. No other vehicles are allowed.
- Dogs and other pets may not run free and they must keep off playgrounds and bodies of water. Commercial dog-walking is not allowed.
- Rubbish and dog waste must be removed immediately.
- Barbecues, fires and fireworks are not allowed.
- Do not feed aquatic birds or fish. Swimming is not allowed.
- Stick to the designated paths.
