Mobile repair service iCracked now in town
The smartphone doctor iCracked is coming from the United States to Berlin. It sends its technicians to the customer's home or office, providing quick on-site repair, without long waiting periods. The company is already active in eleven countries around the world – and now also has a branch in Berlin.
iCracked was founded in 2010 in a student hostel in California. In doing so, the initiators AJ Forsythe and Anthony Martin professionalized the idea of a quick repair service for mobile devices. iCracked chose Berlin as a location because many startup-savvy, technically literate and multilingual professionals come to the capital.
To report a faulty device, iCracked has developed a special app. Certified equipment technicians known as iTechs then repair the mobile device on site. There are already around 40 iTechs in Germany, with the number expected to increase to 150 by the end of year. For special protection, the company offers insurance cover for devices.
