In future the design award of the Federal Government of German will be presented in Berlin. There are lots of new changes, including new categories such as ecological design and lower submission fees to enable young designers to also participate in the award. The nominated works will be exhibited as part of the DMY International Design Festivals Berlin (6-10 June 2012) in the hangars of the former Tempelhof airport. For the first time ever, DMY will be presenting the entire scope of design innovations ranging from universities and young design labels through to successful products of the German design industry.
