On 1 December the Berlin television station ikono TV went live. It's the first channel broadcast in Germany dedicated exclusively to art. The creators have conceived an alternating programme that includes, among other features, artist portraits, pieces on art history and films made by artists. The new station is part of Entertain, Telekom's digital TV enterprise.
