Senefelderstraße

Eliashof, entrance

The location at Senefelderstr. 6 is the largest part of the Béla Bartók music school and it has one special feature: the professionally converted rehearsal rooms are located on the same ground as the primary school in the Eliashof. This is a promising model of joint work for the benefit of both institutions, which has been in practice for years. A large, well-equipped assembly hall and an auditorium are often used for auditions and concerts with all kinds of classical and rock-pop instruments. Furthermore rock-pop concerts also take place regularly in the WABE. And there is another speciality here: A hall, that has been expanded for dance and exercise, allows us to offer training in creative children’s dance, tap and contemporary dance, lead by dance educators. For a multitude of around 1,800 children, teenagers and adults from all over the world (typical for the quarter Prenzlauer Berg), lessons, playing music together or preparing for a degree in music are sometimes a little bit hard, sometimes lust-filled or at least a great creative activity.
