Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Stadion

In GDR days, the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Stadion in Prenzlauer Berg was used primarily by Sportclub Dynamo, the Stasi sports club. Built in 1951 for the GDR’s “3rd World Festival of Youth and Students” and modernized in the 1990s, the stadium now offers seating for 20,000 spectators. Today concerts and Berlin Thunder (American football) and Hertha BSC amateur (soccer) games take place here.
