The Hotel 

Designed by Spanish architect José Rafael Moneo and Swiss interior designer Hannes Wettstein, Grand Hyatt Berlin is a modern luxury hotel located in Potsdamer Platz that features powerful architecture and an innovative design. The Rooms 

All 342 modern guestrooms and suites have Bang & Olufsen flat-screen TVs and a wireless LAN Internet connection. In the spacious bathrooms, showers, an overflow bath tub, a flat-screen TV and a wardrobe combine to create an ample area. Vox Restaurant 

In the largest open show kitchen in Berlin, Chef Pascal Verrooten and his team prepare seasonal dishes made of regional products in front of guests. A sushi bar is attached to the large open kitchen, where culinary experts create fresh, authentic sushi. In the summer, the restaurant’s beautiful terrace is the hotspot of Potsdamer Platz. With dark rosewood furniture and white sailcloth, low wooden tables and two outdoor bars, guests get the perfect holiday feeling to escape a busy modern life. Under the old linden trees, the terrace is the perfect place for pleasant summer evenings or convivial lunches. In the evenings, Vox terrace is a favourite venue for aperitifs, after-work drinks or dinner. A new lighting concept by American designer David Singer gives the terrace a distinctive atmosphere. Vox terrace is the ideal location for an alfresco business lunch or an extended Sunday breakfast. From 10:00 pm onwards from Mondays to Saturdays, live jazz and soul performers bring a breath of the big city to the adjacent bar. more » 

Vox Bar 

With more than 240 different sorts of whisky, Vox Bar has one of the largest selections of whisky in Germany. The dark parquet flooring and the elegant lounge seating of Vox Bar create a warm atmosphere. A collage of oversize black-and-white photos of famous Jazz legends provides an atmospheric background for the top international jazz and blues performers who play live in the bar Monday to Saturday from 10 p.m. onwards. more » 

Tizian 

Situated in the ground floor lobby, Tizian is the ideal meeting place, where guests can enjoy the “lounge buzz” of the hotel’s international clientele or warm themselves around the modern fireplace. Located directly opposite the Philharmonic Hall, Tizian with its modern features from New York designer Toni Chi, is the ideal place for dinner before or after a concert. more » 

mesa 

mesa is a table where friends gather to eat and drink. The restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere and tasty German cuisine that you can enjoy sharing with friends and family, with dishes served in the middle of the table. Huge art pieces, a wine rack that reaches to the ceiling, and leather chairs and tables create a warm atmosphere. On a warm day the terrace, with its light awning, is the ideal meeting place in Potsdamer Platz.
