From November to January the Botanical Garden in Berlin turns into a brightly coloured winter fairyland with illuminations, magic woods and light sculptures.

Inspired by the Christmas at Kew in England, the Christmas Garden in Berlin invites visitors to a relaxing and enchanting stroll in Berlin's Botanical Garden. For almost eight weeks, the 1.5-kilometre round tour featuresover a million light spots, colourful illuminations and Christmas-themed 3D figures all over the grounds.

Christmas Lights and Festive Treats

Guests young and old can linger and enjoy the festive illuminations while tasting regional dishes in the Almhütten restaurant. Other highlights include Rudolph and his friends as 3D figures, an enchanted forest, a Singing Tree to hum along to, and magical floating stars in black light. Some interactive installations have been specifically designed for selfies. Sound designer Burkhard Fincke will once again provide suitable background music this year.
