European champions, world champions, Olympic champions and reigning world record holders will once again come to Berlin for the 2024 ISTAF.
The International Stadium Festival Berlin is one of the largest one-day athletics meetings in the world. Every year, more than 50,000 spectators cheer on the world's 200 best track and field athletes in the 16 official disciplines at the Olympiastadion.
The International Stadium Festival Berlin is the most traditional German athletics meeting. It was first held as a stadium festival on July 03, 1921 in Grunewald Stadium in front of 20,000 spectators. The organizers at that time were the Berlin sports clubs BSC, SCC and the swimming club Poseidon. Following the Berlin Olympic Games, the glittering history of the ISTAF began on August 01, 1937, during which 15 world records were set in over 90 years.
