German-American Folk Festival in Berlin

The German-American folk festival celebrates the friendship between the two countries and the American way of life.

The German-American Folk Festival celebrates the American way of life with amusement rides, live music, food and drink. Each year around 100,000 visitors enjoy the exciting entertainment programme at Marienpark in Berlin-Mariendorf.

Fairground attractions at the Folk Festival

The festival area includes a stage, chill out zones with sand beaches and displays of historic cars. In between, about a hundred rollercoasters and carousels offer fun and amusement for families and their kids.

Food and Music at the German-American Folk Festival

Visitors of the German-American Folk Festival get to eat what is considered typical US-American food: Burgers, hot dogs, steaks, corn on the cob and baked potatoes. On stage, several live bands perform rock'n'roll, rock and country music.
