The Christmas market in the historic centre of the Köpenick district is particularly charming. Against the backdrop of a cobblestone market square, nestled between the imposing brick town hall, Köpenick Palace and the narrow streets of Köpenick's old town, this Christmas market offers traditional gifts, foods, music and much more.

Christmas on the Palace Island

At the market stalls, candles, ceramics and Christmas ornaments are available. Children can try their hands at crafting while the grown-ups sip mulled wine. Savoury foods and traditional Christmas sweets are sold at the stalls as well. On the stage in front of the palace, musicians and artists entertain the market-goers with the singing of Christmas carols and storytelling while a brass ensemble plays Christmas tunes.
